About Vicki

I help founders who deserve funding actually get it.

There are incredible ideas out there.

And there are so many VCs who genuinely want to find the next breakthrough company and fund it.

But too many great founders fail to raise capital—not because their company isn't fundable, but because their story isn't clear.

VCs look at your deck for 90 seconds before deciding if you're worth a meeting.

f your narrative doesn't land in that window, you're done—no matter how strong your product is.

I started DeckToVC because I saw this problem from both sides.

My Background

I spent 7 years as a Principal at a $400M European VC fund, where I reviewed thousands of pitch decks and led investments in seed and Series A companies across multiple sectors.

I've sat in the room where funding decisions are made. I know exactly what makes investors lean in—and what makes them pass in 90 seconds.

For the past 4 years, I've served on the Investment Committee at Golden Seeds, the biggest angel network backing women-led companies. I evaluate deals and help shape investment theses.

From 2020 to 2023, I taught venture capital workshops to undergraduates at Yale College, training over 200 students on Venture Capital.

I was also a judge at the Harvard-Yale Pitch Competition, where I evaluated early-stage startups and provided feedback on their fundraising strategies.

I've reviewed over 400 pitch decks of a combined 1B+ valuation.

I know what works—and what kills your chances before you even get in the room.

Why I Do This

After years of seeing brilliant founders fail to raise because their decks didn't tell the right story, I realized I could help bridge the gap.

Most founders don't know what VCs are looking for because they've never been on the other side of the table. They waste months pitching a deck that was never going to work.

My job is to get you pitch-ready fast—so you can spend your time building your company, not rewriting slide 8 for the tenth time.

I don't just fix slides.

I architect the story VCs need to hear to write a check.

Then I get you meeting-ready with scripts, objection handling, practice sessions, and warm introductions (when there's alignment).

My clients have raised $17M+ across 15+ rounds.

5 have been admitted to YC and Techstars.

3 have been acquired by strategic competitors.

How I Work

I'm not a designer who makes slides pretty.

I'm not a consultant who gives you a 50-page report you'll never read.

I'm a former VC who knows what gets funded—and I get you there fast.

What do I do:

I focus on the slides that actually matter: Product, Why Now, Team, Traction, Market Size.

I build you a custom VC fit-list so you're pitching investors who write checks at your stage.

I script your outreach and prep you for meetings.

When there's alignment, I open doors. I have direct relationships with VCs and know most firms investing in women-led companies.

Most founders start booking investor meetings 2-5 weeks after working with me.

A Bit About Me

When I'm not helping founders get funded, I'm usually relaxing with my family, catching up on fundraising news or am running—I find running to be the fastest way to stay in shape and clear my mind. Some of my best ideas come mid-run.

I believe great companies deserve capital. And I believe every founder deserves honest, tactical feedback from someone who's actually funded startups—not theory from someone who's never written a check.

If you're building something worth funding, let's get you in the room.
